Job Success
In late 2006 Juno Consulting developed the Job Success program for VLTU Job Network clients. We delivered 10 Job Success programs in 2007 and over 20 in 2008. We consistently achieved outcome rates between 50 and 70%.
The Job Success program is run at one Job Network office, with 20-24 ISCA candidates.The Job Success program targets ISCA clients who are deemed in need of individual coaching and advanced case management by their consultant. Typically, the majority of the group will be very long-term unemployed or candidates with ‘hidden’ issues.
Job Success consists of a foundation training week and 9 weeks of small-group based individual coaching and assisted job search. It is delievered by 2 Juno facilitators on site at the Job Network. Our facilitators achieve the desired behaviour changes through individual coaching, individual job search strategies and holding clients accountable for all their actions and behaviours over the course of the program. It also includes two 1/2-day mock interview workshops with 20-30 HR professionals from a range of companies.
Clients who are not placed during the initial 10-week period are paired with a corporate mentor for a further 13 weeks. For more information on the mentoring part, please see here.
