Giving Back

Since Juno Consulting’s inception we have donated a lot of time to the community sector and we remain committed to our pro-bono activities. This year we will be adding a financial contribution. In each quarter we will be giving away $3,000. In addition, we will close the office for one day per quarter so the whole Juno Consulting team can donate that day to the community group we are supporting.

We can get involved in many ways. For example, you could utilise our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) background. Over the years we have aided both our corporate clients and community groups in building long-term partnerships liberating sponsorship dollars, ongoing corporate volunteers and ’in-kind’ contributions. We have helped community groups understand what CSR is and what it’s not, create CSR marketing plans to approach businesses using a language it understands and, as a result, ensured a positive response. If you know of a good project that you feel business would be interested in, maybe we could help put together a CSR proposal and project plan.

Another way we have helped community groups is in the area of staff and volunteer training. Juno Consulting works with business in area of leadership development. We know that community groups with limited funding often struggle to find the dollars to pay for professional development for their paid (and unpaid)  staff. Training is part of the ‘Giving Back’ opportunity on offer.

We are not afraid to get our hands dirty on either indoor or outdoor projects. If you have a community house or garden that needs a little TLC then contact us. Maybe the $3,000 could cover the cost of paint, contribute to a new carpet or furniture. Similarly, it could fill a garden with ’drought friendly’ plants.

Maybe, we could help your clients in some way. For example we have helped deliver internet training to parents who had never touched a computer and were worried that they didn’t know how to keep their children safe as they we surfing the net.

Hopefully, this gives you an idea of what we are willing and able to do. Our aim is to build long-term relationships with the community groups which apply for our funding and support.

Juno Consulting is a Melbourne based consultancy that provides practical and authentic leadership development programs through a challenging context for growth. Our three core areas of expertise are:

  • Community Mentoring
Mentoring a disadvantaged community member, who is clearly in need of advice and coaching, creates a powerful motivation for leaders to overcome their own barriers and start experimenting with new leadership skills and behaviours. Our community mentoring programs are goal oriented and fully facilitated for the 13 weeks duration. We carefully screen and train proteges and mentors receive foundation training and ongoing coaching to assist them in their journey.
  • New Leaders
We provide programs that assist new leaders in making the transition to management. These programs focus on effective leadership and team behaviours. In all our programs we combine experiential learning with reflective work and group coaching. The programs are designed to be practical and all the material we cover is immediately applicable in the new leader's work.
  • Job Services Australia Programs
We offer a suite of programs to Job Services Australia providers which are known for their high level of outcomes when working with long-term unemployed clients. Based on our proven combination of training, coaching and corporate mentoring, we have consistently achieved 50-70% outcome rates. About Us

Juno Consulting is a Melbourne based consultancy that works at the cross section of leadership development and Corporate Social Responsibility. We have two other businesses under the Juno Consulting Group:

  1. Leadership Mastery - our premium leadership and executive coaching business, and
  2. Complete Career Management - our career counselling and career transition business

We have provided leadership development programs under the Juno Consulting banner for over 8 years now. During those years we have trained over 1,500 corporate leaders across a range of industries and levels of seniority. As a result, we have accumulated extensive knowledge on leadership and how to develop the emotional skills and competencies that underpin great leadership.

Juno Consulting also works extensively with the Job Network, helping unemployed job seekers get back into work. We not only train and coach these job seekers, we also pair them with corporate mentors for a period of 3 months. In over 70 such community mentoring programs we have consistently achieved success rates of 60-70%, mainly working with the long-term unemployed.

We have been in business since 2001 and Juno Consulting has grown rapidly since 2006, when we decided to take on staff and expand the business. We enjoy delivering innovative leadership programs that help business and individual leaders reconnect with community in a meaningful way.

We pride ourselves on our integrity, ethical approach and dedication to quality results. At the end of working with us you will be surprised by comments from your staff along the lines of 'My company is great for doing this!'.
